Logan River Parklands is about 30km south of Brisbane’s CBD and not quite halfway to the Gold Coast. The park was not at its best today. We have had a lot of rain and humidity recently, and this park regularly floods.

Anyone fancy a swim?! Not that inviting and probably still quite dangerous with all the dirty, muddy runoff from upstream.

It was the first time parkrun could use this course in over a month due to the flooding and flood damage. We even scored a nice rainbow while we were running - that has to be a good sign. That is me in the orange vest on the right. I was running as a volunteer pacer.
