My First Cherry's Journey- From Day One to Full Ripeness
Hello Hive Garden friends!
Today I want to share a very special moment from my small home garden. This is the story of my very first cherry, from the moment the flower bud appeared until the fruit became fully ripe. Watching every stage of its growth was a wonderful experience, and I captured almost every moment with my camera.
I bought this small cherry sapling from a nursery. At first, I didn't believe that a cherry tree could survive in our country's climate. However, with three years of care and patience, the tree has gradually grown into a healthy and beautiful plant.
This cherry tree is very special to me. When I first planted it, it was tiny, and I made sure to water it every day. Last month, the tree was covered with beautiful blossoms for the first time. Unfortunately, none of the flowers developed into mature fruit, so I couldn't create the post I had hoped for.
I had actually been waiting for the past month to share this journey. My first attempt ended in disappointment because I only managed to photograph the blossoms before they withered and fell.
This time, however, everything went perfectly. I was able to capture every stage-from the first blossoms, to the tiny fruit forming, and finally to the cherry ripening into a beautiful red fruit. That's why I'm so happy to share this post today, documenting each step of my cherry's wonderful journey.
The journey began when I noticed a tiny flower bud emerging on the cherry branch. I was so excited because it was the first sign that my cherry tree was preparing to produce fruit.
The following day, the flower started to open slightly. Every morning I checked on it, eagerly waiting to see its progress. Soon, the blossom opened completely, showing its delicate beauty.
For about three days, the flower remained fully bloomed, making the tree look even more beautiful. I enjoyed admiring it every day, knowing that something even more exciting was about to happen.
After those beautiful days, the petals gently fell away, revealing a tiny green cherry. It was amazing to see how quickly nature transformed a simple flower into a little fruit.
I patiently waited for about one week, and during that time the cherry gradually became larger and healthier. Every day it looked a little bigger than before, filling me with happiness.
A few days later, the fruit finally started changing color. The green cherry slowly turned bright red, and at that moment I knew my first cherry had finally ripened.
There is a small gap in my photo collection during the middle of this journey. I wrapped the developing cherry with a plastic cover to protect it from insects and pests, so I couldn't take pictures for a few days. Keeping it protected was more important than taking photos, and thankfully it worked well.
Seeing this first ripe cherry made me incredibly happy. It reminded me that gardening is all about patience, care, and enjoying every little step of nature's process. Even though it was only one small cherry, it felt like a big achievement for me.
Have a wonderful day, everyone!
