Missing My Practice Teaching Days!
Hey everyone! So, I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and something keeps popping into my head: my practice teaching. Seriously, I miss it!
Back then, I wasn't so sure teaching was for me. It felt really hard, you know? Lots of work, lots of planning. I even doubted myself a few times. But looking back… wow. I actually loved it! I especially miss my Grade 7 students. They were such a fun bunch! We had some great times together, learning and laughing.
Practice teaching was tough. It was tiring, really exhausting. There were days I felt completely drained. But it was also incredibly rewarding. Seeing those "aha!" moments in my students' eyes? Priceless. Knowing I helped them learn something new? That feeling is amazing.
I remember one student who really struggled at first.Helping them succeed felt like a huge accomplishment. It made all the hard work worthwhile.
Now, I'm thinking about my future. I really want to become a licensed professional teacher. I miss the classroom, the energy, the connection with students. Teaching isn't just a job; it's a passion. And I think I'm ready to fully embrace it.
So, to my former Grade 7 students: I miss you guys! And to anyone out there thinking about teaching: give it a try! It's challenging, yes, but it's also incredibly fulfilling. You might just surprise yourself. And who knows? Maybe someday, I'll be back in the classroom, ready to share my love of learning with a whole new group of students. Until then, I'll keep dreaming of those classroom days!
