Lights and Christmas 🎄

Hello #hive-collectors community Today I am pleased to participate in the December initiative, the most beautiful month of the year, to which my friend Hive account@mipiano kindly invites us.

This year, I started decorating a few days before December because I took advantage of the occasion to have a double celebration, as my daughter was graduating with a degree in rural engineering and the house had to be decorated for both Christmas and the celebration at the same time.

I started with the lights, checking to see if they were working and that there were no faults, but I found several damaged plugs that fell apart when I touched them. I have loved lights since I was a child, and I always tried to repair them. Now I do it even more because I am an electrician, and I look for lights that my sisters and friends throw away. Of course, to save money, I try to repair them, but this requires knowledge and patience, and many people don't like to do it and prefer to buy new ones. I haven't bought any new lights in years; I only recycle.

I decorated my house, although I haven't finished yet. I went to church and took some photos of a nativity scene there. I was at some government offices, but during the day, the lights weren't on, and they decorated a tree.

I went to a school for special needs children and saw these doors and billboards there, and I took photos of them.

Then I visited my brother-in-law. The decorations were made by his daughters, but they weren't lit up.
So I made a selection from the photos I took.

Among wreaths, trees, cushions, stuffed animals, lights, and decorations in the streets and squares of my town. Between uncertainty and inflation.
