Exploring Gran Canaria

Following up from my previous post about my trip to Spain, I decided to combine the blogs 2 and 3 together…

On the second day of our trip, we managed to make a quick trip to the scenic town of Mogan. There was a slight resemblance to Santorini, with the white buildings and the floral decor around the streets. I would highly recommend you visit this town if you ever happen travel to the island.

For our final day on the island, we decided to see the much hyped Sand dunes of Maspalomas, and we were not disappointed! The sand dunes make you feel like you’re in the Dubai deserts, but you can see the sea in the background!
Meloneras and Maspalomas is definitely the most elite location in Gran Canary, with the widest range of restaurants, activities etc.

I would definitely recommend you visiting this gorgeous island in Spain. There is a lot to do and 1 week felt like it wasn’t enough to fully explore its beauty. With the weather being around 20 degrees Celsius throughout the winter period, it’s the perfect winter destination.

Hope you liked the post!
