@bitcoinman Casting his prize

The silver raffle is over and it was time to make the prize for @bitcoinman and he wanted a design with the first initial of each child with the dob in a love heart.

The designs are done in blender on the pc and then printed using my photon 3d resin printer.

The 3d model is removes from the supports and given a quick sanding to remove any stuck bits

The plastic model is used to creative negative impression in delft clay.

Molten silver is poured into the casting flask which sets almost immediately, it is removed and put into cold water and then a pickling solution to remove any fire scale.

A quick file and polish and the job is done, I did get the weight completely wrong and it is has cost me an extra half ozt of silver but it don't matter.

I have also started making coin rings again which I enjoy making.
