Vegetable for our lunch!

"CRAVINGS SATISFIED" is all I can say after having our lunch hahaha.
It's been a while that I was craving a vegetables cooked with coconut milk good thing that my mother inlaw harvested a squash yesterday.I didn't thought that there still fruits of the squash I planted before.
Our neighborhood also sell a bottle gourd and I planned to cooked it together with the squash.

I able to help our neighborhood by buying her vegetable at the same time ,I satisfied my cravings today lol!

My cravings is a perfect timing for this cold weather we had today.

I have here some squash and bottle gourd,spices like onion ,lemon grass ,bell pepper and garlic and dried fish.

How I prepared it?
First I peel off the vegetables I used and cut it into small pieces.
Then I prepared a coconut milk ,since we don't have a ready to use coconut milk ,I grated a coconut and squeeze it to get the milk.
I set a side the first squeez ,and used the 2nd one for cooking the vegetables.

In a pan ,add the second squeeze of coconut milk and add the sliced squash with the spices I prepared.

When the vegetables is nearly to cooked ,add the bottle gourd and the dried fish.Much better if you have some shrimp ,it is tastier than the dried fish hihi.

Add salt and pepper to taste.When the vegetables is cooked ,I added the first squeeze of coconut milk I set aside.

Let it to boiled and removed from the fire.
Charraaan,my lunch is ready!

O remember when I was a kid ,I cried whenever my mother asked me to make a fire hahaha but now it's kinda easy but sometimes a struggle also especially if the wood is not so dried hahaha.
