The unplanned family bonding at Dumagocdoc river

Before anything else ,let me first greet a happy father's day to all the father outhere.Thank you for your love and sacrifices for your family.Stay safe and God bless you all.

Anyway ,I am planning to write this blog right after we came home from this unplanned family bonding but then I have a lot of things to do and forgot it lol! Maybe it's a sign of aging nah hahaha.

After attending a Sunday mass ,my son asking us to go for a swim in the beach but I heard that it's a season of jelly fish and since we experienced a traumatic beach accident when my son was been hit by a jelly fish.I got sacred thinking about it so we decided a visit Dumagocdoc river.
It was an unplanned since we didn't prepare anything for it hihi.

I asked my nephew to buy some food at the town ,we ordered a pancit (noodles),roasted chicken a bought a fish to grill.

Dumagocdoc river is located near our barangay.We traveled for almost 30 minutes.
But if you started traveling from the town which is the Bato,Leyte Philippines town maybe it takes 40-45 minutes .

Good thing that my husband agreed for this unplanned trip even if he is tired from his nightshift duty.Its our simple way also for a father's day celebration.

I ordered a bento cake for him anyway.

It's my second time anyway to visit this cold river.

I was surprised the changes of it from our first visit.Good thing the barangay is doing their best to give an improvement for it.

They installed some cottages also for the tourist .There's no cottages here when we have our first visit 4 years ago .
But the coldness ,the crystal clear water is still the same.

A lot of people was there,glad that we able to get a vacant cottage for 200 pesos.

My kids are so excited to swim even if it's too cold .

Some are enjoying doing the swing and diving.

And of course I have also some solo clicks hihi.

I wasn't able to do more clicks since I keep my eyes on my kids.Thats really the thing I usually do whenever we have some family outing.We need to watch our kids all the time as we don't know accidents usually happened .

It's may an unplanned trip but we really did enjoy.
