Si están siguiendo mis posts, habrán leído que en mi ciudad desde el día de ayer estamos en "invierno"; para ser totalmente sincera, está haciendo mucho frío; la temperatura ha bajado mucho. Por suerte, vivo en una ciudad que, a pesar de la estación del año, la mayor parte de los días son soleados.

If you've been following my posts, you'll have read that in my city, since yesterday, it's been "winter"; to be perfectly honest, it's very cold; the temperature has dropped considerably. Luckily, I live in a city where, despite the season, most days are sunny.

Si bien hace mucho frío, y aunque me cueste admitir, salir de nuestra casa nos cuesta muchísimo, lo que nos reconforta es saber que, en un par de horas, al salir el sol, el día se pone agradable y es un verdadero placer poder caminar por la costa de nuestra ciudad.

Although it's very cold, and although it pains me to admit it, leaving our house is incredibly difficult, what comforts us is knowing that in a couple of hours, when the sun comes out, the day will be pleasant and it's a real pleasure to be able to walk along the coast of our city.

La ribera, sin importar si estamos en ¨otoño¨ o en ¨invierno¨, tiene la suerte de que siempre luzca hermosa y colorida. Hay plantas que al parecer son ¨inmunes¨ a las bajas ¨temperaturas¨ y sus flores siempre están coloridas, iluminando y dando color a nuestras calles.

The riverbank, regardless of whether it's "autumn" or "winter," is fortunate enough to always look beautiful and colorful. There are plants that seem to be "immune" to low "temperatures" and their flowers are always colorful, brightening and adding color to our streets.

Habrán visto que últimamente en la mayoría de mis posts comparto fotografías de flores; eso es porque la verdad que me hace sentir bien y olvidar que cuando el "sol" se esconde, regresan las bajas "temperaturas". La presencia de flores en nuestras calles las hace parecer mucho más cálidas.

You may have noticed that lately I've been sharing photos of flowers in most of my posts; that's because they truly make me feel good and forget that when the sun sets, the cold weather returns. The presence of flowers in our streets makes them seem much warmer.
