The difficult task of trying on clothes

Not all walks are meant to take place in nature. I know, it is much nicer if you nourish your soul with blue skies and greenery around you, or listen to the gentle rustle of leaves, or birdsong. A walk is also an activity spent like... looking for the right clothing item. Going in and out of all those women's clothing stores can be just as exhausting as hiking mountains. 😆

If you are in the mood for that kind of walk, join me today in this Wednesday Walk. However, before we start with the shopping thing, we have to stop for a few moments at the post office. I had a package to send, luckily my turn came pretty quickly, although that is not always the case. The last time I wanted to send something I spent over half an hour waiting for my turn.

Right after leaving the post office, I hit the window of this store. That is, the pastel colours of this casual clothing from the window hit my thoughts. They reminded me of what was waiting for me - a pleasant time dedicated to trying on clothes. 😎 If I change careers, maybe I consider modelling. Just kidding, of course. 😂

The saleswoman at this store was very nice, but unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that would be suitable for the occasion which prompted me to go on this whole search. What I am looking for is a black blouse or an elegant shirt that I can wear under a black blazer for the concert that will take place in Teruel, this Saturday. It is a town where the temperatures are a bit lower this time of year, and the fact is also that we are performing in the cathedral... I assume there is no heating there. I don't like it when I am cold during a performance, I don't want my fingers to be cold because then they are like frozen and I can't control them well. So, I am looking for something warmer, but elegant. The blazer I will wear is not the same as I usually wear; this one is a little thicker, at least to protect me a bit more from the cold.

We will spend most of our today's walk on this street. Inside the shops actually. In the next store I went into I found something that might be suitable.

The material was a little warmer, it was elegant and formal, but somehow the style didn't suit me. Still, I gave it a chance and tried on the blouse. It would have been good, but when I put on the blazer I was going to wear over it, I realized it wasn't a good combination.

No worries, there were plenty of other shops. 😂
I spent quite a lot of time in this one, La Corona Moda. They had a variety of styles and colours, from elegant to more casual, for elderly people and younger ones.

They also had a stylist who could help you find what you needed and if you needed to correct something on the item you wanted to buy. They were very friendly. There I tried on a black knit shirt, quite thin and moulded to my body. I thought about it for a long time, I liked it and it went quite well with the blazer.

However, I found it not elegant enough for the concert so I didn't buy it.
While waiting for the saleswoman to talk to her and ask for her opinion, I spotted these long dresses with floral motifs. :D Well, the blue one was pretty, its price too - 250€. 😅

I left the shop with empty hands and browsed among the offers of the few next stores. Nice arrangements in the windows and details in the interior. A bicycle? OK, not for riding but just as a shelf.

I liked the hanging lamps in this one... no suitable garment for me though.

Does it mean the bloggers buy their clothes here? The name was catchy, but I didn't enter this one. I glanced through the shop windows but saw nothing that could fit my search...

Inside always have some good prices but I am not sure about the quality. Look, this was not bad, I tried it on. I even liked it a lot but it had short sleeves and it is not really warm... If I bought it, it would be just for summer, but I already have enough of those thin, summer blouses and shirts. I rejected the temptation.

I did leave Macadamia with a black turtleneck that I bought, but not for the concert I needed. It was on sale and I liked it... really, this was an impulse purchase. 😂 I also liked the combination of the green/yellow shirt and black skirt... but one unnecessary purchase was enough. 😅

I am sorry you had to visit all these shops with me now... for the end, not the whole Wednesday Walk will be dedicated to clothes. Before I headed home, I passed through the place where classical music sounds from hidden speakers in this park.
