Pirate Seagull

If you just skim through this post and don't read anything, you can anyway guess where I am today from the photos. The sea is there as a blue background, my playground is sprinkled with small pebbles and my friends are... two legged creatures that also have wings. Well, yes, birds.

Some were well behaved, like these white pigeons. They just walked by me and saw that I didn't have anything edible in my hands or on the towel and they continued their walk.

There are also other players in this publication: not visible on the photo as these animals live in water - that is, fish, with which you can swim and enjoy their freedom. How naturally and quickly they move through the water, as if they were born there... 🤔 oh, wait, they were born in the water, of course, I am just kidding. Although I was laughing today a lot, along with all the other people from this beach who were close to my towel and saw what happened. The actors were again brids. Not so well behaved as the white pigeons though.

So, I am not sure if it was Mama Seagull or Papa Seagull that made us laugh! Maybe it was actually Uncle Seagull or some other, not so close relative of these two young seagulls that were chilling in the water... because I think if it was one of the parents of the little ones, he/she would have shared with them the prey!!

And it was stolen loot!!! From my towel. The treasure, which was wrapped in aluminum foil and which was supposed to be my dinner later, was stolen in plain sight of everyone by that Pirate Seagull! And I would never have thought that some seagull, appearing out of nowhere, would realize that the package was actually food and that it was worth the risk to sneak up and steal it, open it with its beak and eat everything, literally everything that was packaged!! Pieces of meat and vegetables! 😂

When I noticed that people were watching a seagull eating its feast, I got out of the water (and you know I like to be in the sea hahaha) and ran towards my towel & the greedy seagull. I managed to take the aluminum foil from him, not with the hope of saving the food because I realized that there was nothing left, but so that it wouldn't be left on the beach as garbage. I picked up the foil, crumpled it up and headed towards the trash can, laughing like crazy, and the other eyewitnesses were also having a good laugh by the scene. 😂

The worst (or funniest) thing is that my son was on his towel the whole time, but he was lying on his side, with his back turned, and he didn't notice at all when the Pirate Seagull committed his crime. 🤣 After all, we had a good laugh, sprinkled with summer vibes. ☀️
