The jealous madness
There was a day when jealous madness overcame me,
Imagining that someone else could get your love.
The very thought of losing you consumed me,
That in my absence another would possess your heart.
And I suffered in silence this tormenting agony,
Longing to be the only one in your life.
Because I loved you with such a burning and excessive passion,
That any foreign glance wounded and maddened me.
When I saw you, my heart was beating uncontrollably,
The blood in my veins began to boil.
The rage was reflected in my unhinged face,
I wanted to hit everyone who dared to interfere.
It was as if they were trying to steal you from my side,
Right in front of my eyes, with nothing I could do.
When I was alone and abandoned,
Thousands of scenarios created in my deranged mind.
