SPS returns less APR than HBD. Time to make a change?
Today, SPS that's SplinterlandsShards are returning APR of 19% when staked.
That's a big decline in APR from a year ago. And it's reflective of a much bigger decline in SPS value.
Remember SPS was kicking near a dollar but now it's at $0.02 and still dropping. Look at the chart above, this isn't a coin/crypto/token that's bouncing around with the regular cypto market. It's all bear, all the time now.
Is there an alternative? HBD, Hive backed dollars, is throwing off 20% APR on a consistent basis.
So does SPS have any future bounce? Consider that pretty much the only Splinterlands reward, that can be cashed our or traded, from playing the game is SPS so inflation is taking its toll. If you are setting on a chunk of SPS, the question is it time to dump and buy HBD or is there some redeeming reason to continue to HODL?
