When Joy Feels So Strong It Brings Tears
I still feel almost the exact emotion I had whenever I think about it. I do know how our emotions can get the best of us sometimes, especially when it's not controlled but what I have recently learned from an experience is, there are just some times we have to let the emotions win.
I won't say I cry often because I really don't but yes, I do cry when it's overwhelming or I'm in pain or in some very sad situations that I can't hold myself from crying. I've always told people that it's rare to see me cry while seeing a movie and I was honest until I started to cry when I see them.
And that brings me to the last and most recent time I cried... Three days ago. The reason I cried is something I still can't explain well enough but I can still almost feel how I felt that night. It was late in the evening and I decided to see a movie before sleeping, I choose a random movie to see.
What I didn't imagine was that, a story so simple and almost unreal in our today's world, will make me feel so much joy and smiling all night until I slept off. The storyline isn't grand, the characters weren't as special or famous like the ones we all know but somehow, I felt so much joy seeing it.
I love stories with happy endings and this movie had one, maybe that's a reason. I don't cry much in movies except it's a very emotional story and this movie had emotional scenes, maybe that's a reason too. But I reflect on that story till I fell asleep and I couldn't stop smiling while tears came out of my eyes out of joy... Yes, they were tears of joy. I just enjoyed the moment and slept.
