SMARTWATCH UPDATE - YAMAY ID206
Wrote an article last week (@menoze/smart-watches-and-their-window-to-bio-tracking) on interactions with this smart watch and a previous model (ID205). This watch has a mind of its own. The night of the previous article the watch stopped working. The watch interface is frozen as if it's not connecting to the VeryFit Pro app. Leaving it unsynchronized for a few days then placing it on the charger it came out like this..
Based on my experience with this brand, I have no practical reason to select any future models. I'm looking for something that can function without application dependency, carries a week battery life with standard display and minimal use, and NFC payments (maybe). I know my selection is limited with NFC technology added. I think I'm limited to Samsung. Not an Apple user.
