Justice
This sculpture, titled Justice is part of Carole A Feuerman's "Monuments of Stillness" exhibit on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
She symbolizes poise, balance, and the quiet power of inner strength.
Justice is cast in dark bronze, wearing a polished, metallic swimsuit and cap that match the giant stainless steel sphere she is sitting on.
The artist designed these spherical bases so that viewers—and the iconic Chicago architecture surrounding them—would be actively reflected on the surface, making the city and its people a physical part of the artwork.
Looking south along Michigan Avenue. The surface of the sphere captures fragments of the architecture and life of the city
