Not a bad guess—- daily prompt

I pointed at a faded photograph in the antique shop and said, “That must be your father.” The old man smiled sadly. “Not a bad guess.” Then he turned it over. On the back was my name and tomorrow’s date. I was so mesmerised at this. I had no clue about it at all. Little did we know that these were just manipulative tricks. These had no real grounds to hold them off.
