Hello, friends!

‎Throwback time! ☺️

‎I was scrolling through my Google Photos when a particular album caught my eye.

‎It was the photos from the day after our wedding when we were opening gifts.

We had gotten married during the pandemic in 2020, and back then, financially, it was not easy.

‎So we didn't expect much in the way of gifts.

‎But surprisingly, despite the hardships, our friends and families were so generous.

‎They surprised us in the most heartwarming ways.

‎The gifts wrapped in colorful paper and ribbons, were more than just material things.

They were tokens of love and support.

And what truly melted my heart, was the personal messages in the cards accompanying the gifts. 🥺

Actually, during that time, I remember how much I preferred cash gifts.

‎We had mentioned it clearly on our wedding invitations.

‎Cash felt like the most practical and appreciated gift, something we could use for our future plans.

‎But what I didn't expect, though, was how receiving material gifts would leave a sweet impact on us.

It wasn't just the gift itself, but the love and time they put into choosing something for us.

‎That moment made me realize how giving gifts at a wedding can be much more meaningful whatever the gift may be.

‎If it comes from the heart and is given wholeheartedly, that will reflect.

‎So yeah, it showed me that the true gift is the thought and effort behind it.

‎I really feel the beauty of gift-giving.

‎How the love behind the gesture can be appreciated.

‎So next time you attend a wedding, consider buying a gift.

‎It doesn't have to be expensive.

‎What matters is the effort and love behind it. 😉

‎Until my next experience...

Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
