Modular Activity Day: Happy Learning
This Thursday, we received a message from Ryzen’s teacher saying she wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t make it to school.
But, instead of canceling their learning time, she told us parents that we could pick up the activity papers at her house that afternoon.
So we went there to get the modules.
As soon as we arrived home, Ryzen was already asking to do it so I asked him which activity he wanted to start with first.
Then he pointed to “I Know My Gender.”
This activity had pictures of clothes, for boys and for girls.
The task was to cut them out and paste them in the correct place. Since the scissors were still too sharp for his small hands, I did the cutting.
Then I handed him the pieces and let him take charge of pasting. He focused so well and matched each item where it belonged.
It was simple, so in just a few minutes, he finished it all.
Next up was “How Old Are You?”. For this activity, he needed to draw a candle and write his age.
I started by drawing one simple candle to show him how it’s done, then let him copy it on his own.
After that, I let him fill the drawing with bright colors. There he had so much fun!
Then after coloring, I asked him how old he is now, and he answered, “Three!” So I let him write the number “3.”
And here's the final result.
Watching him work through these simple tasks wasn’t about being perfect. It was about his willingness to learn, his focus, and the joy he felt after finishing each page.
Until our next modular activity...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
