Before heading to the plantation, I took a moment to help my older sister clean the front yard and tend to the ornamental plants. I spotted an orange dragonfly perched on one of my paper flower plants; it looked truly unique, even while resting motionless. It spread its wings wide, creating a magnificent sight; like most dragonflies, it had transparent wings and a relatively large body. Upon finding it, I immediately decided to photograph it from above first—a task made easy because the dragonfly was likely resting or asleep—and then I successfully captured images from various other angles as well. This particular dragonfly has a stable population in my area, and it can easily be found in plantations or along the edges of the forest; I sincerely hope its population remains stable here.
Dragonflies are incredibly fast insects; they can even easily catch mosquitoes and flies. What makes them unique is that they tend to be more docile around humans compared to most other insects.
Alright everyone, I am now going to share some photos of this dragonfly here.
