- 200 g of sugar;
- 1 tablespoon butter;
- 1 teaspoon salt;
- ½ lemon;
- 200 g puff pastry ;
- vanilla ice cream - on request.
Cooking
Peel the apples, cut them in half lengths and remove the cores. Pour sugar into a saucepan or stew-pan and, stirring it slowly, simmer it until a brown syrup is formed.
Melt the butter in the syrup. Add salt and lemon juice and mix thoroughly. Reduce heat to low and place halved apples in caramel. Cook them for 5–10 minutes. In the middle of cooking, turn the apples over so that they are completely saturated with caramel.
Put one half of the apple cut up in each compartment forms for making muffins. Pour the remaining caramel over the fruit.
Slightly roll out the dough and cut 6 slices to the size of apples. Put the dough on the fruit and place in the oven heated to 230 ° C for 15–20 minutes. Then cover the form with a baking tray and turn it upside down.
