The One Person I Never Have To Think Twice About Sharing Good News With.
I so much love this topic. It will also interest you to know that I smiled immediately I saw it. Like... I don't even need to start thinking about various people or thinking for long because the answer is right here... very straightforward. And that person is my mum. Yes, it might sound somehow ion know, but she's that person for me.
Well, everyone loves good news, and I have someone I'm very close with whom I always tell almost anything and everything, like inside earlier, my mum. It's not as if I don't have friends and people around me,nah. But no one comes close to her. My mum is my world, my favorite person, and my everything.
Also the kind of relationship I share with her is one that really needs to be studied, honestly. We are very very close. She knows almost every single thing about me. I actually don't hide things from her. When you see us talking you won't even believe she's my mum, I'm so free around her. And I can be very playful, we joke, we discuss deep things, I ask her questions, she shares her experiences with me and all of that.
Also, I'm mum's best friend. Yes,maybe after her husband 😂. And this is not pride, honestly. My mum also finds it comfortable talking and sharing things with me.... I mean very deep things. She also seeks for advise and opinions from me on certain issues. That's how close our relationship is. We talk, we laugh, we tease each other, and all. I'm just saying that we have a very strong connection not as if we don't have off day's like other parent to child, but then... Ours is different, it doesn't last for long.
So, if there's a good news and I need to share with someone, then my mum is my no1 person. It's just like a default setting. No other person can/will come to my mind first. I remember telling her something I was so scared to say out at a time and she just wrapped me in her arms, like. I was expecting her to scold me at that moment, but she didn't. It was later she corrected me and talked about it, which in all honesty was done out of love.
Now, when it comes to her sharing things with me..I very well understand that she has a husband which is my dad. So I don't get offended or feel somehow if I'm not the one who get to know first. And she also has other sons who are older than I am, they are all older and experienced than I am, so I will understand if she chooses to share with them first. That is not to say she still won't tell me, I'm sure of that. She will tell me, or somehow I will still get to know about it.
But no matter what, she's still my go-to person. That may/will change when I'm married though, but as long as I'm still single, then it's my mum. My safe space, my partner in crime, my world, and my closest pal.
