A Secret Kept.
So, there was this time when I was in school and I was having a serious issue with one of my lecturers, it was a very trying moment for me as I tried all I could to be in good terms with him, but nothing worked. This man told me then that I wouldn't graduate and with the influence I know he has, he can do and undo, coupled with the fact that he's my department exam officer. So, even though I know I will do well in my exams, the fear of what he said wouldn't allow me focus.
So, one afternoon like that, I decided to see him and at least talk things out one of one with him, I went to fellowship that day and escorted few of my friends to their hostel cause they were staying in school hostel, I was staying off campus, somewhere around the back of my school, it's a trekable distance to the school though. On my way back from escorting my friends and returning to my place, I noticed his car, meaning he's still in school.
That was how I climbed the steps as his office is located in the top floor of the 5-6storey building. I just finished praying in the fellowship, so I was going to his office with the consciousness that God will take control. On getting to the door of his office, I found out there's no padlock so he's definitely inside, so I knocked gently, but the door of his office is not good, so as I knocked the door opened by itself with a creaking sound.
What I saw when the door opened left me dumbfounded, I saw my lecturer and one of my coursemates in a situation and position that shows clearly they are having something doing together. I don't even know what to do at the moment. It took me like a minute to gather myself back as I apologized and gently closed the door back.
Since that day, what was between us disappeared, he began to respond to my greetings unlike before, but I will love to add that none of us mentioned what happened, he didn't talk about it, I didn't talk about it and my coursemates too didn't. We all acted as if nothing happened.
And till today, that incident remains a secret between the three of us, but I guess my fellow hivers have gotten to know about it now🫣. It is important to as well add that I graduated when I was supposed to.
