No electricity for more than three days !

I'm just starting out here, so I don't know if anyone has written about this. But I think that even if this topic has been written about, it's worth repeating.

I am an electrician by profession, and I have too much experience in that.So I know how sensitive and fragile that whole electrical grid that powers all our modern devices really is.
Lightning strikes a transformer station, a storm and fallen trees, and even storks that built a nest on an electric pole...
All these events leave us without electricity for a short time. Because the on-duty teams are doing their best to fix the fault and repair the damage as soon as possible.

And I think everyone is kind of prepared for the fact that we'll be without power for three days at most.
But are you prepared for a power outage for more than three days?
Have you even thought about it, it sounds a bit scary.
This opinion of mine is perhaps more for people in the city. I live in the countryside, let's say we have a small farm, a garden, an orchard. As for food, especially now that summer is coming, it's not a problem. And there's an old stove, a stove, a grill, a fire can always be lit.

There is always food in the pantry, sometimes more, sometimes less. There are even canned goods, so maybe that is a means of security for people in the city, canned food that will not spoil if there is no electricity.Or some other food in long-life packaging.
But since there is no electricity, the shops are not open either, so you won't be able to buy anything, maybe some will even get generators, but it will probably be very crowded.

As for water, the situation is similar, there is no electricity, the water supply is not working, bottled water, shops, crowds.
I have my own source, I use an electric water pump to draw water. I also have an old hand pump, which I used to pump water with as a boy and I learned to assemble and disassemble it.

Not to mention that we are all more or less dependent on the internet .
Of course when I mention a power outage , I mean a more serious outage in one or more regions . I think something similar happened in Spain last year , but they managed to restore the power grid or most of it in three days.

Maybe, I live in a country where instability is another name. Like it or not, we are prepared for Armageddon. Candles, gas lamps, gas cylinders, more recently solar panels, generators. Leftovers, food traps, home-made salted smoked meat. Our own garden, farm, water source.Even though my current job is in the city and I travel every day, I somehow feel free and safe in the countryside.
These pictures are a bit ironic. I took them in broad daylight where the street lights are working. Whether it's a sensor error, a timer error or a human error. But when we get used to something being there all the time and "having to" be there. It's a bit awkward when we're left without it completely and unprepared.
