Exposición 'Caravana de Silvinho' | Parque São Lourenço [ESP-ENG]

Curitiba no solo es una ciudad turística sino también llena de cultura e história, por lo que siempre se están llevando a cabo eventos, ferias, exposiciones y todo tipo de actividades para promover la cultura en la ciudad y si bien no soy originaria de este país me gusta mucho poder conocer su historia y aprender de ella visitando diferentes lugares de la ciudad así como asistir a estos eventos.

Curitiba is not only a tourist city but also one brimming with culture and history. Events, fairs, exhibitions, and all sorts of activities are constantly taking place to promote culture in the city. Although I'm not originally from Brazil, I really enjoy learning about its history by visiting different places in the city and attending these events.

En esta ocasión les voy a hablar de mi visita a la exposición llamada Caravana de Silvinho, todo un jardín colorido lleno de un total de 45 estatuas elaboradas en acrílico en homenaje a uno de los comunicadores más importantes de todo Brasil.

On this occasion, I'm going to tell you about my visit to the exhibition called Caravana de Silvinho, a colorful garden filled with 45 acrylic statues in homage to one of Brazil's most important communicators.

Silvio Santos, mejor conocido como Silvinho fue un famoso presentador de televisión, comunicador social y empresario brasileño. Su labor marcó tanto a este país que se consagró como uno de los mejores, rindiendole homenaje de diferentes formas y una de ellas ha sido esta exposición.

Silvio Santos, better known as Silvinho, was a famous Brazilian television presenter, media personality, and businessman. His work left such a mark on the country that he became one of its greatest figures, and he has been honored in various ways, one of which is this exhibition.

Como ya mencioné estas esculturas están inspiradas en Silvinho y son 45 en total, cada una siendo de un modelo y diseño diferente. Las esculturas fueron elaboradas en fibra de vidrio con 1.60 metros de altura. Todas las esculturas fueron personalizadas por diferentes artistas de todo el país, incluidos entre ellos el famoso muralista Eduardo Kobra y el artista curitibano Betuel Lima.

As I mentioned, these sculptures are inspired by Silvinho, and there are 45 in total, each with a different model and design. The sculptures are made of fiberglass and stand 1.60 meters tall. Each sculpture was customized by different artists from across the country, including the renowned muralist Eduardo Kobra and the Curitiba-based artist Betuel Lima.

Las esculturas de Silvinho fueron exhibidas en el jardín del Memorial Paranista del Parque São Lourenço de Curitiba, lo que dio como resultado un espacio lleno de historia, cultura y color para quien ama el arte pudiendo aprovechar de la naturaleza al mismo tiempo.

Silvinho's sculptures were exhibited in the garden of the Memorial Paranista in São Lourenço Park in Curitiba, resulting in a space full of history, culture, and color for art lovers who can also enjoy nature.

En mi visita a este jardín de esculturas pude ver todas y cada una de ellas, capturando en foto mis versiones favoritas de Silvinho, entre ellas The Champion, una versión inspirada en el famoso cantante Freddy Mercury de la banda Queen (una de mis favoritas), diseñada por el artista Fe Motta.

During my visit to this sculpture garden, I was able to see each and every one of them, capturing in photos my favorite versions of Silvinho, among them The Champion, a version inspired by the famous singer Freddy Mercury of the band Queen (one of my favorites), designed by the artist Fe Motta.

Otra versión destacable de Silvinho fue Entre Colores inspirada en La noche estrellada de Van Gogh, diseñada por el artista curitibano Betuel Lima.

Another notable version of Silvinho was Entre Colores, inspired by Van Gogh's The Starry Night, designed by the Curitiba artist Betuel Lima.

Por último , otra versión de Silvinho que me gustó fue una al estilo catarina, la cual representa la cultura mexicana como símbolo del día de los muertos. Esta obra fue titulada Del mundo no te llevas nada y fue diseñada por el artista RVO.art.

Finally, another version of Silvinho that I liked was one in the style of a ladybug, which represents Mexican culture as a symbol of the Day of the Dead. This work was titled You Take Nothing From the World and was designed by the artist RVO.art.

Todas las demás versiones de Silvinho me parecieron simplemente increíbles, fotografié la gran mayoría de ellas pero si las vi todas en persona durante mi visita.

All the other versions of Silvinho seemed simply incredible to me; I photographed most of them, but I saw them all in person during my visit.
