My Actifit Report Card: October 4 2024

Hey Actifitters,

It seems the sunny weather is here to stay, and even if it's warmer than it should in October, it's still much cooler than summer. That makes it very nice to hang out in the yard.

Le Chat found her spot back on the old dog bed, and that's where she spends most of her time, including bathing time.

She didn't even move when we checked on the foliage colors.

Three hours later, we found her at the exact same spot, just turning her back away, clearly indicating "Just let me sleep..."

So Kaia and I went to the forest of course.

Kaia always tries to multi-task, running the trails, and spotting critters.

One thing we don't spot in the forest right now is the fall colors. A few yellow touches here and there, but that's about it, just lots of green.

It seems they have extended the pedestrian/bikes lane on the other side of the road. These construction are taking for ever, but at least this is a nice addition.

When we cut back through the forest, it was getting dark. I might need to really change our schedule. By 7:30pm, it's now completely dark, and with the time change in a few weeks, it will be dark by 6pm!

At least, around dusk, we can see even more wildlife. These deer barely acknowledged us.

Most of these days, I don't even reach 20k steps anymore. I have to step it up again. The cooler weather should help.
