My Actifit Report Card: August 2 2026

Hey Actifitters,

To finish the week, we had a busy schedule. First we started with a trip to get Kaia's food, it's a little bit far, at the very least a 50 minutes drive if traffic is light. But she likes the food, and even if it's far from being cheap, it's probably impossible to find cheaper for the same quality. And bonus, it's always an opportunity to stop at the various lakes in the area. First the one just in front of their house, more like a pond.

And my favorite, I don't even know its name though.

Kaia was very eager to jump in, but I couldn't let her unfortunately.

Back home, we found Le Chat also very busy, as always...

After a little bit more cleaning in the house, it was time for our daily walk to the small forest, with a beautiful sun piercing through the trees.

Kaia wasn't interested and just wanted to go in the forest.

Nice to see the sun out there, and it wasn't really hot for once.

Kaia could burn a lot of energy.

So much that she had to rest a bit when Le Chat joined us.

But we still had one last loop to walk in the neighborhood.

The sunset in the distance looked really cool, but again that was too far for this time.

Le Chat greeted us back home from the tall weeds.

Still more cleaning and a final run to close the day's activities. Just about 5k but not so bad again, around 5:20min/km pace. It was humid though, luckily a bit cooler.
Maybe that was a bit too much stuff to do for the day because I had to work until late after all that. And the cleaning is still not done, far from it actually. Oh well, no matter what happens, done or not, I'm leaving on Saturday for my trip!
