Steak & Matcha Espresso
One thing I can never understand from steakhouses around me is that they serve mixed frozen vegetables. Personally, that is an abomination. That is the example that there are some luxuries I can't get living in a small town unless I make them my own. BUT thankfully, this one place I go, they still ask me about how I want the steak to be.
I can not fully blame them because it's quite reasonable and less pricier than the steak I normally had either back in Bali or in other places.
There are also steakhouses that offer cheaper steak and sometimes I wonder how they did it. I went to some of them and I did not like it.
Lately, I eat about 100gr of meat at least once a week. I tried adding lean meat into my diet because now I rarely take iron supplements. I either get filet mignon or sirloin or ribeye. I do not eat them with any sauce but just the simple pepper, salt, and coriander. What I appreciate from this place I went to is that they also add whole garlic on top & I like to eat them. I even tried to replicate this dish at home but it was not the same. It tastes similar but more in a healthier version of it including a fresh mushroom that I added into it. It reminds me of jägerschnitzel, a dish that I often order back in my apartment.
Steak and coffee are one of my self indulgence during the cheat meal day. It tastes awesome and pretty rewarding. It's almost as if I am always waiting for the day when I eat steak and be at a comfortable place. What’s your most favorite self-indulgence?
