Kernel Panic

Kernel Panic... one of the dreadful experience that you can get right after getting up from bed. It will become double kernel panic especially if you haven't sip your first morning coffee.However, it's not difficult to fix it, just run a troubleshoot, disconnect your computer and it might help. I said it might. This morning that's what exactly happened.

By now I remember that I let my laptop turned on all night. It's an old device and I should treat it like one. I need to retire this soon, hopefully.

Fortunately, I can fix it and my archaic laptop is still working. I will be triple panic if my laptop isn't working just two days before my deployment. I need this device just like how it always accompany me everywhere I go. This device had been taken to the beach, the jungle, the shady alley and flew with me all the time. However, from my experiences, I learned my lesson to always back up the important data to several hard drives and some on the cloud especially my writing and pictures of my travel.

Still relating to kernel panic. I am getting much more anxious. This is my second day before the deployment. I tried to pack everything I could without being too neurotic about it. Clothes, check, medicine, check, coffee, check. Everything is inside the bag, I hope.

I had a meeting with my colleague today. We talked about obstacles, house rules, and things we can do. Yet, upon discussing, everything was still vague. We will be sent into the wilderness. We will try to find problems and solve it. Eventhough I am fairly good at interacting with others, language is a challenge for many of us. We only know Bahasa Indonesia and they speak their local language. I hope they won't feel offended of our inability to speak their language. I am pretty sure we will learn about it along the way.

Still relating to the community service. I was learning about Ethnography. It's one of anthropology branch which deals about finding the origin of institution, belief system and culture. I am currently learning of conducting a mini anthropology research so my report will be based on scientific method rather than just a freewrite writing. I am trying to be as objective as possible in my description. For if you find something that's uncanny, that's up to the readers to judge.
