Wandering Artist

Grabbed my pen for a quick session and felt the inspiration flow I love seeing this character take form as he steps into the spotlight for the Draw A Day community. See my simple lines build into a friendly explorer who is a cute traveler he carries only his satchel and a single paintbrush to document the beauty of the world. He wants tp capture the story of every creature he meets into a painting so he spends his days wandering from village to village, waving a warm hello to everyone he sees

My Creative Process

Focused on his cheerful energy and I am happy with how these bold lines frame his personality.

• The Friendly Wave: Sketched the raised hand first to establish his warm happy vibe right away.
• The Tools: Added a paintbrush and cross-body satchel to show he is always prepared for a creative spark.
• The Texture: Detailed his thick beard and wavy hair with short strokes to give him a rugged and approachable appearance.

This exercise I made today felt like a wonderful way to connect with the community and share a little bit of artistic spirit.
