As was mentioned in this post by @lottobot maintainer and developer @hmagellan, this weekly lottery was numbered as "0" since it was considered a sort-of trial run of the weekly lottery system. Again (also as mentioned in that post), @lottobot's weekly lottery will be tweaked from here on out. As of right now, the next weekly lottery (#1) is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM Central US Time next Monday. Another automatic post announcing lottery #1 will be made by @lottobot then.

Expect a post from @hmagellan soon announcing the total list of changes made to @lottobot's weekly lottery. Stay tuned!

This post is also to announce a temporary shutdown of @lottobot's service for a short while. Those who follow @lottobot closely might have noticed that there was a delay issue with the service on Thursday. The issue has been resolved and steps have been taken to prevent its recurrence. However, @lottobot is due for a period of downtime and maintenance. Many changes have been made to the codebase over the last weeks, and this full run of weekly lottery #0 was a stress test as well.

@lottobot will be offline starting at 8:30 AM US Central Time today, Saturday September 30th 2017. @lottobot will resume activity tomorrow, Sunday October 1st, at 9:00 PM US Central Time. In the intervening time period, please DO NOT send entries to @lottobot! They will be returned!
