💙 Making a long-sleeved shirt for a boy, size 4.💙 Confección de Camisa manga larga, para niño talla 4.💙

💙Good morning, dear community. Happy day to everyone! Today I want to show you how I made a size 4 children's shirt. It is a long-sleeved, white shirt with pockets and buttons. Ideal for formal occasions, including baptisms, among others. Nowadays, children's shirts can also be casual wear, depending on the combination and style of shoes. To begin this shirt project, I start by cutting out each of the pieces needed to make it.

Buen día querida comunidad Feliz día para todos! Hoy quiero mostrarles como hice una camisa para niños talla 4, es una camisa manga larga, de color blanco con sus bolsillos y botones. Ideal para cumplir con compromisos formales, también para bautizos entre otros. Hoy en día las camisas para niños también es una ropa casual dependiendo de la combinación y estilo de zapatos. Para comenzar este proyecto de camisa, por otra medida, empiezo sacando cada una de las piezas necesarias para su elaboración.

I cut two front pieces, and for the back I cut the top piece and the insert. I also cut the long sleeves and another strip for the cuff, as well as the neckline. I start by sewing the back piece that has another border or wide strip just at the height of the sleeves or armholes.

Corto dos partes delanteras, y para la espalda corto la parte de arriba y el complemento. También las mangas largas y otra tira para el puño, como también la parte del cuello. Comienzo cosiendo la parte de la espalda que lleva otro borde o tira ancha justo a la altura de las mangas o sisa.

Then I sew the edge where the buttons will be placed and the buttonholes on the front. I join the shoulders, and then attach the sleeves. I sew the cuffs onto the sleeves, and also make buttonholes and buttons for each one.

Luego la parte del frente le coso el borde donde se colocara los botones y la parte de los ojales. Voy uniendo la parte de los hombros, para luego colocar las mangas. A las mangas le coso la parte del puño, también le hago los ojales a cada una y su botón.

For the collar, I join the lapel part with the edge of the collar. The entire collar part is covered with another fabric called pelón, which is a fabric with adhesive, and is ironed with a hot iron so that it can adhere to the fabric, giving it more firmness.

Para el cuello voy uniendo la parte de la solapa con el borde del cuello. Todo la parte del cuello le coloca la otra tela que se llama pelón, es una tela que tiene pega, y se le pasa la plancha caliente para que se pueda adherir a la parte de la tela, así tiene más firmeza.

I start with the shirt, placing it carefully around the edge of the collar. Once this part is finished, I hem it on the machine. With the shirt assembled, I proceed to sew the buttonholes and attach each button.💙

Uno esta parte en la camisa colocándola muy bien por todo el borde del cuello. Al terminar toda esta parte le hago el ruedo en la maquina. Ya teniendo armada esta camisa, procedo a coser los ojales y pegando cada botón.

When making this type of shirt, we always have to take every detail into account so that it fits well, and iron each piece as we finish sewing it. I should mention that this shirt is worn with a beige sleeveless jacket, which I will show you later.

La elaboración de este tipo de camisa siempre, tenemos que tener en cuenta cada detalle, para que pueda quedar bien armada, y planchar cada pieza mientras se termina de coser. Les comento que sobre esta camisa va una chaqueta sin mangas de color beige, que luego les mostraré.
