In sewing, between different types of fabrics and different styles of clothes, many times we want to modify its design or style, as long as the clothes fit and its fabric is still in good condition. I modified this blouse that had sleeves and was too big for my niece, she wanted a smaller size, i.e. a size 12.

En las costuras, entre diferentes tipos de telas y diferentes estilos de ropa, muchas veces queremos modificar su diseño o estilo, siempre y cuando la ropa sirva y su tela aún esté en buen estado. Modifiqué esta blusa que tenía, mangas y además era muy grande para mi sobrina, ella quería una talla más pequeña, es decir una talla 12.

Antes de cortar la blusa, de quitar las mangas y el cuello prenso muy bien con los alfileres y voy cortando a la medida primero una parte es decir la delantera y la parte de la espalda. Los alfileres me ayudan a que la tela no se ruede, ya que la tela de raso es muy deslizante.
The part of the front that had buttons, but inside where the buttons and buttonholes were, had the same fabric but in blue unicolor, without removing it or unpicking it, what I did was to fold it towards the front, and thus to be able to join these parts, leaving this blue stripe in the middle of the blouse.
La parte del frente que tenia botones, pero por dentro donde iban los botones y ojales, tenia la misma tela pero en unicolor azul, sin quitarla o descoserla lo que hice fue doblarla hacia la parte del frente, y así poder unir estas partes, dejando esta franja azul en el medio de la blusa.

Luego con la tela azul unicolor saco una tiras de esta que era el cuello y puño de las mangas, así poder colocarlas de sesgo en el borde del cuello y sisas donde estaban las mangas.

Es una blusa sencilla, de uso diario, tambien sirve para dormir, ya que esta blusa era de una pijama, pero mi sobrina quiso que se la cambiara en este diseño sencillo sin mangas.
Aún quedó unos retazos que son parte de las mangas y del largo que era la blusa. Por lo que decido hacer una pequeña blusa para su hija. Con tirantes y encaje blanco en la parte del frente. Con lo retazos hice unos lacitos y un schrunchie.
