Hay momentos que se quedan grabados en nuestra mente, no por los regalos ni por la torta, sino por la luz que transmite esa persona al ser feliz justo en su día especial . Anoche nos reunimos para celebrar el cumpleaños de nuestra pastora Carmen y cuando ví su cara irradiando alegría lo primero que se me vino a la mente fue sonrisas que celebran la vida.

• (There are moments that remain engraved in our minds, not because of the gifts or the cake, but because of the light a person transmits when they are happy right on their special day. Last night, we gathered to celebrate our Pastor Carmen's birthday, and when I saw her face radiating joy, the first thing that came to my mind was smiles that celebrate life.)

Es que hay gestos que no necesitan explicación y esa sonrisa espontánea llena de ilusión y gratitud representan la expresión más bonita para reflejar la emoción en nuestro corazón por recibir tan grata sorpresa y por tener la oportunidad de compartir con personas que la aman.

A veces dejamos que los días pasen muy de prisa y no nos detenemos a observar los detalles que de verdad importan, a veces queremos detener el tiempo y quedarnos en esos instantes de felicidad compartida, dónde tenemos la oportunidad de dar gracias a Dios por esas personas que nos permite conocer y que abrazamos con mucha dulzura y le deseamos siempre lo más bonito de la vida.

Aunque les confieso que detrás de esa hermosa sonrisa que ven en la portada, también hay historias.
Hubo muchas bromas para lograr la foto más espontánea y genuina de todas y detrás de todo eso se podía escuchar su risa nerviosa y esa energía que surgió tras cámaras para poder capturar la imagen perfecta del reflejo de un momento real y feliz.
