SplinterGlossary: SPS Node Validator
Anyone can run an SPS node validator for free.
But to be rewarded for running the node, there are two options:
- you'll need to be voted into consensus (or high enough in the ranking) by the SPS stakeholders
- you can buy one or more licenses using a combination of SPS and VOUCHERs, which give you a share of the licenses rewards, regardless of your position in the voted ranking
License owners earn from their licenses already, even if the SPS node validators haven't been released yet. And there will be ways to earn for license owners, even if they don't want to run their own validator software.
