High Tea on the water in Amsterdam
High Tea on a Ferry boat in Amsterdam
This High Tea on the ferry boat in Amsterdam was certainly a different experience.
As I am not a cake-eater, unlike my girlfriend, I was happy to go along and let her have this treat for one of her birthday presents. I was pleasantly surprised because their were some lovely savouries as well.

Who can resist freshly baked scones with jam and cream !!
With Kiara - enjoying the treats
More like it - for my palate
During the cruise, the skipper told us everything about the history of the city and its canals. Afterwards, you not only enjoyed a delicious meal, but also learned all kinds of new things about the city of Amsterdam.
We ebjoyed the sights and a classic high tea on board an elegant saloon boat that visits several attractions, from the Anne Frank House to the Westerkerk, including the Jordaan and the Amstel. The captain provides live commentary while the host serves tea, coffee, scones, finger sandwiches and more.
There is also a toilet on board as well as Wi-Fi.
View from the ferry
This was certainly a new experience for both of us and it is a lovely memory for us - celebrating on the water.
We can definitely recommend this experience to others.
It was great drinking tea out of elegant cups whilst enjoying the huge variety of treats.
Tea for two and two for tea
It definitely gave one a sense of royalty. Surely a new way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon.
There is so much to see and do in the Netherlands and we have some lovely adventures ahead of us.
