Gourmet Mushrooms
Here is some pics of the gourmet mushrooms we are now growing on our farm. With our own lab on the farm we can now make our own mushroom cultures and have grown White, Black , Chocolate and King Oyster mushrooms as well as Loin's Mane and Shiitake.
These mushrooms are not only great tasting food but are also great medicine.
Mushrooms grown outside will get insect damage and dirt on them but if grown inside will stay clean and have little pest problems.
Loin's Mane has the taste and texture of crab meat.
Polypropylene bags with a filter patch allows us to expand a large amount of spawn in a short amount of time. You can also fruit the mushrooms out of the bags themselves. If you would like to hear more about how we grow mushrooms on our farm please let us know.
Thank you
