Beef Steak
So here comes my 4th post on Steemit. How about trying out a Beef Steak today?
To make Beef Steak you will need the following:
Beef – 2 slices (preferably hip portion)
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Garlic – 3 cloves (finely chopped)
Brown sugar – 1 Tsp
Soya sauce – 1 Tbsp
Mustard sauce – 1 Tbsp
Butter – 2 cubes
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper powder
Let's get started :)
-Take good slices of beef preferably hip portion or the rib portion.
-Wash it thoroughly and pat dry with kitchen towel.
-Season the beef slices with salt and pepper.
-Place a grill or normal pan on heat and pour 1 tsp of olive oil.
-Place the beef slices and grill for 3 minutes on each side. If you like your steak to be well done then place it for 4 to 5 minutes. I prefer it well done!!
-Once you turn the slice, add a cube of butter and few rosemary.
-Once done, keep it aside for 5 minutes and only then slice it.
-To the same grill pan, add 1 Tbsp of butter and saute onion and garlic.
-To this add 1 Tbsp of Soya sauce, 1 Tbsp of Mustard sauce and 1 Tsp of brown sugar and saute well.
-Once the sauce is ready keep this aside and set the platter.
-To set the platter, I used mashed potatoes and (Arugula) Rucola salad.
If you don't know how to make mash potatoes, here you go :)
-Cook potatoes along with salt.
-Mash the cooked potatoes
-Then add a little of butter, chopped rosemary and mix well.
My version of a simple Arugula salad:
-Take a handful of Arugula leaves to a bowl. These leaves are really healthy :)
-To this, add a pinch of salt, pepper and olive oil.
Beef Steak is ready with Mashed potatoes and Arugula salad!
