The City That Never Sleeps

Looked at my watch and saw it was already 1945H. My day's work is finally done 😍. I Stretched my arms while giving the world a wide smile. Excited as I bid my farewells to my bosses and friends.

Then,

Up the stairs I go, rushing towards my cabin. Opened the door and found my room a mess. Chuckled loudly remembering that I have not cleaned it for quite a while now 🤣. I tiptoed towards my laptop, careful not to break any of my items that is scattered all over the floor. Sliding back my chair, I tried to push away the comforter and pillows back. When there is enough space I went between the gap and sat comfortably on my chair.

I opened my Old Acer Nitro 5 then pushed the power button.

Automagically my Element.io opened and saw that I missed 1.5k chats in less than 24 hours 😭 and just to make it worst—I got pinged. Slapped my face thinking how in the world am I going to find the culprit who pinged me 😭.

Grabbing the mouse and telling myself I have to try I started backreading. laugh hard I did as I read through Kat and Burl's banter. I almost flip myself backward seeing Mawitz has missed another giveaway.

Reading more I saw Shrazi’s paintings, Mr. Weird Alien with his personalized emojis, Valchiz with his adult aura... my eyes are starting to feel heavy and I still can’t find who tagged me.

I decided to just rest and lean back a bit. 😴

I awoke to find that I was not in my own body. I had somehow fallen back in my chair from a zap I felt intensely in my head. I pulled myself up and straightened the chair, and then sat down. I looked at Element where I was chatting only a moment ago and somehow my username had changed to @raymondspeaks…

In front of me, everything changed, As I was about to stand and check a ping came from Sir Neo asking @raymondspeaks to explain about the City Puzzler.

My eyes widened and I can feel a smile creeping up my face. 😈

I put my fingers comfortably over the keyboard then typed, “Good Morning, peeps! Well for our city puzzler… hmmm let me think. AHA! I want you guys to write a speech for Burl’s candidacy. I am planning to make Burl the supreme ruler of India. This is going to be big guys I promised.”

A flood of laughing emojis ran down my chat post. 😂

Rajat, Juice, and Coding started to ask in chat, “Why India?”

”Are you alright Ray?” Ask Sir Neo.

Kat just filled her post chats with ROLFs. 🤣🤣🤣

Sayee and Lion showed a lot of concern thinking @raymondspeaks may be down with a fever.

I just laugh and laugh, bashing the table till a female voice rang behind me saying, “Ray!?”. Panicked, I quickly tried to look behind but my chair slid sideways sending me crashing to the floor.

Next thing I knew… I am back in my room.

I pulled myself up and straightened the chair then sat down. I looked at Element where I was chatting only a moment ago. This feels like déjà vu but on my screen is still my name @khoola.

Let out a sigh of relief then decided to let the ping be. just get back to the current chat and join the fun.

My eyes widened at the sight on my screen.

I haven't said anything since I got online. 😭
