Looking back, Dreemport is where everything started for me. It was still not yet public then as I remember. Fate has it that I was looking for a place where I can have people to engage with my writing.

Dreem instilled an idea in me, "Leave memorable comments and you will get one in return."

It was perfect for me!

Writing for me is a passion, getting engaged with my readers, and having genuine comments is a must if I was to improve myself. Dreemport gave me the chance to find people I can engage with randomly.

At the start, I used the excuse, "Hi! This is Khoola from @dreemport..." Just so I have an excuse to drop by and say something honestly. Now, it is more of a habit for me and I come and comment like it's perfectly natural for me.

From this point on I started to find people to support, familias, friends, and communities that I belong to.

Having friends means getting tagged here and there to join something... Truth be told I feel really bad if I can't finish writing or drawing in time, or it gets pushed back because another project's deadline is fast approaching, or I am just plain burned out. 😫

But I write everything in the wall to remind myself of the things I need to finish and I will finish them. 😤

Another great memory from Dreemport is the challenges. I am focusing on my fiction writing but here I found myself blogging. The first challenge I remember was the Dreemport staff shoutout where I started cultivating my talent in making "banners" 🤣. The second was the dreaded "Freewrite" 😂 where I first felt that I am not just a fiction writer but also a blogger. The third was fiction writing... got to polish my skills there!

And now gardening!? I never thought I would be showing my garden skills! 🌳

People who know me personally say it is out of character for me to be raising roses and sunflowers, I am too manly they tell me! 💪 LOL! (that reminds me that I need to find time to go to the gym... my abs have turned to flabs from writing too much. decided to slow down on writing.)

Why it is special to me?

Simple it is the first time I joined a group voice chat, on my own accord... I am not the social type (I am not so fond of social media platforms) but because I can keep my identity to myself gives me a bit of courage to speak up 😂.

Now, I can join the riot and promote post I come across that I think is interesting enough to share, without worry.

You guys can come in too... there are prizes now! LOL!
