Being One

There is a construct within us
It tells us what the world should
look, feel, sound and behave like.

A model built from birth.
Placing layers upon layers of meaning.
Social and relationship contracts.
Societal agreements.
Personal values and beliefs.
A sense of self.

We place these upon those we meet.
Colour them INTO our framework.
Place them in placeholders.
Keep, or discard them.

Sometimes we are remiss
We strive to find replacement.
For a job, a dream, a hope, a memory, a person that we thought we lost,
BUT alas can never truly find.

And so we search, and find another "object"
to fit the framework.
The whole time not "seeing"
the framework IS creating the void.

Without the framework
there is everything,
life, love, breath, sky, energy.

Everything exists.
Everything is fluid and in motion.
Everything is still and perfect.
Everything is freely BEING.

In all existence, perfect and whole, no framework to peg a hole,
it is ONE as the WHOLE.

You are You, I am I, yet We are We
And at the same time None.
In this freedom - BEING ONE.
