Festive decadence.
I had the opportunity to get a booking at Dior Cafe - a short term pop up cafe in place of the old Lauduree cafe inside Harrods.
It's one of those crossovers of a luxury brand attempting to service their customers for things outside of their usual offerings - in the case of Dior, their clothes, shoes and bags.
Suffice to say, it wasn't a bad attempt.
The whole place oozes posh-ness. Obscenely expensive yes, but largely justified with not the food but the atmosphere.
It also helps that the cafe has so few tables, it literally takes about 4 hours to queue for a place.
Not for the feint of heart if paying above and beyond the 'utility' value of food is not your thing, but ever so worth it for those who yearn for an hour of the Great Gatsby.
