FIVE MINUTES - (PHOTOGRAPHY STORIES)
The story behind this series of photographs that I am sharing with you today is quite simple: this happened to me one morning last week when, returning from making some product deliveries at a client's establishment, I stopped to rest for a bit on the northeast corner of the town's central square (better known as "Bolívar Square") and, as was to be expected, I had my camera hanging around my neck.
So, when I saw a friend named Antonio leaning against one of the edges of the square's planters, I decided to take a picture of him (the first photo in this post, by the way) from a relatively wide distance; enough so that Antonio wouldn't notice he was being photographed by me and the photo would look quite natural and unposed.
But, immediately after taking that photo, I noticed that several interesting scenes were happening around me at the same time; even Antonio got up from where he was and started walking down the boulevard in the direction of where I know his house is. So, realizing all of this, I started shooting, trying to make the best possible use of what was happening around me.
But all of this lasted barely about five minutes, I think, and then the square became almost empty and silent; but, by that time, I had already captured these photos that are now here on #Hive for you...
