Lost Within Her Nature

I breathe so deep
taking in her essence

green blue brown

life and death
surrounds me

the sun
shades my eyes
from her truths

and still

reveals to me
all of her secrets

I hear the whispers
the murmurs in the wind

I feel the energy
she gives me

raging
roaring
soaring

then falling

to the ground by my feet

just waiting
for the chance to fly again
