Big Red Fish
(Lutjanus campechanus) is a species of snapper native to the western Atlantic Ocean including the Gulf of Mexico, where it inhabits environments associated with reefs.
Hundreds of snapper species exist, named after their "snapping" teeth. American red snapper is a reef fish found in the Caribbean and along the mid-Atlantic coast. Its fine texture and sweet, delicate flavor earns it praise. The image above took place out here at the RIG at the back leg of the liftboat ,it’s was a nice weather to catch some fish while on break .My first catch of the day ..
