Samaritan's Boxes is on Action

Samaritan's boxes was sponsored the kids in US, this is a large program they called "Operation Christmas Child" that was supposed to be distributed around December but since travelling it from abroad to Philippines really takes time, so last March was the arrival of these boxes but just by the last day of May was the first distribution that was in the plan because of some conflict schedules.

Last Saturday, we we're sorting all boxes from girls to boys and the age range which is 2-4, 5-9, and 10-14 years old, it was quiet a task but we're all happy doing it for the glory of God and for the kids to hear about the gospel.

Thank you to everyone who helped.

After almost an hour of sorting out, we made it with the help of everyone, volunteers and teachers.

This was our tarpaulin for the entire event, that was created by ate Jean.

When the program is about to start, the Host is here and I did my part welcoming the kids, and preparing their attention for the remaining part of the program.

The main part of the program is the "Gospel Presentation" where we talked about how God created the world and even us humans--His special creation up until the moment of disobedience that led to sin and separation from God up until the moment of reconciliation which is the reason why Jesus came to earth, live a perfect life and died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sins so that our relationship to Him will be restored, the only thing we need to do is to believe and accept Jesus as Personal Savior in our hearts.

This was the kids in their gifts.. I can see their smile and excitement to open their special gifts with love.

after our distribution, the kitchen volunteers who made the snacks did their part to distribute the snacks to the kids as well as their drinks, special thanks to their effort and commitment to serve these kids.

From the bottom of my heart I am so thankful for each and everyone's time, effort, commitment and love for the kids. From kitchen to the box distribution up until snacks giving and even cleaning the area after the event. To God be the glory for the victory of this event. This is to share God's love for the kid, as Mark 10:14 says that "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of God".
