Having a voice...and a life

Here I am, a 50-something, wanna -keep -up with my teenage sons, wanna feel like I have a voice AND that is valuable, not yet over the hill, mother and teacher.

My passions are varied and sometimes off the track, sometimes purely observations of humanity and life as lived in South Africa (strongly infuenced by my sons' who live in the USA's opinions) and obviously tainted by personal experience.

My biggest driving force is to remember who I am and where I fit in now that my sons have moved on. To prove to them (and myself) that I remember what it feels like to live, the hubby and I have planned a trip to Europe.

I hope to tell you about our trip and find my voice in the process.

So, with VISAS sorted and flights booked we will be visiting Poland, Hungary, Croatia and Italy.
