PhotoFeed Contest - cityscapes and urban life: June 13 2026

it has been a while since i last posted, it is really a childish reason on my part. the biggest reason for that is the falling bitcoin value, this has really been a downer for the past months. my will to post and make some content has been dragged down to the trenches because of that, i am not gonna lie. but here i am trying to get back online. my fingers has been itching lately to write. and since the Hive account@macfit challenge is back, this has also egged me to write experiences again.

as a starter, i am still in japan, the land of the rising sun. but my posts will still surely be revolving around night. this alley on top was taken while queueing at a ramen shop. my friend and i certainly had a discussion about living around this neighborhood being quite sad and drab. true! but then again my photography eyes will have lots of subjects to point at.

and here was the ramen i had, trying to be a bit healthy with the extra onions and less oil option. it turned out to be a bit blurry, i wasn't planning to post it anywhere when i took it. i did not even bother to check the picture after taking it; i just wanted to have a taste as fast as possible. this one was a tad bit salty but with the lots of condiments, including crushed garlics and vinegar, it can well be adjusted to your liking. chopped onions, ginger, pepper, and crushed sesame seeds were also available right in front of the table.

that big and calorie filled meal deserved a stroll after. and so the stroll home started. passing by a sanrio shop with hello kitty and rillakuma (or is it?) was also a delight. i just had to take a picture of that huge thing.

well i guess this re-entry post will suffice for now. hope my hands and creative juices are still up to the challenge. i miss posting!
