in search for sweetness : October 22 2025

i immediately thought of cakes and desserts when i saw the prompt for this week's #FPC hosted by @friendlymoose. the topic for the week was "SWEETNESS", and yes i searched for the literal sweet taste. but as i was walking down this road, i noticed this couple at the distance extra clingy to each other. i was following them for some time until it dawned to me that i could submit a picture of them for the contest, their actions were really sweet toward each other. that simple gesture of holding both of their umbrellas was even sweet. they were all smiles while this woman was holding his man in the arms. they were joyously talking about their favorite sushi, at this point i was dangerously close. i was overblown by their sweetness that i sped off, i couldn't take it.

it was raining yet again in tokyo, not the best of weathers recently. but i'll take it, at least it is getting colder. now here we are with another sweet moments with a dog and his pet (lol). sure it was a better picture but then i could not capture the sweet moments they had. all i captured here was the dog sniffing for an area to pee. but i'm sure their bond was sweet.

i tried walking around romantic spots near home, it was empty. this statue of a lady with a butterfly on her head was also there. sweet!

the street was still wet from the rain. it was drizzling for a bit, my glasses shielded my eyes form all the waters.

and there was the couple earlier, holding hands while walking. who wouldn't be obliged to take their picture?

this bar should have a lot of sweet moments inside, too. it has been a while since i went drinking in a bar.

so here i was with a homemade cocktail. that is whiskey, with some pineapple juice and coconut dessert. this was also sweet by the way.
