Accommodating heart

She asked;
“Despite the holes in your heart”
How do you hold love?

She asked;
“How's your heart able to convince,
If it safe to grow love?”
“With all the missing windows, wrecked walls and savaged roofs?”

She asked;
“Does your face not hurt?”
“Why do you keep turning the other cheek?”

She asked;
“With all the scars from betrayals,
Why do u still walk afront?”

And I said;
“I am like the beach,
My love and trust are the sand,
No matter how many waves wash away,
I can't be with out the sand”.

“I was nurtured with love,
From a mother like nature,
Ever giving without the left hand demanding,
From a stream of trust that never seizes I quenched my thirst”

“I am an unusual bank
Storing love with no deposits,
No charges,
Yet Lots of interests”

She asked me;
With glitter in those eyes
“For how long?”

I said;
In a voice loud as a whisper
“I am a victim of THE Ponzi scheme,
“Its ending would be with streams of emotions”
